Paola’s favorite image of the Virgin Mary and child was this one known as Madonna of the Streets (image background). A framed print of the painting hung in her bedroom for many years. The prayer on the back of the card was selected by her son, Eduardo; his wife, Michelle; her sister, Giuliana; and her youngest best friend, Maria, because it most reflected her voice and wishes for all of us in her passing.
